It's Open !! from Top to Bottom
California State Highway 1,
The Pacific Coast Highway
is now fully open -- all 650 + miles of it through Big Sur, now that the Mud Creek Mud Slide has been conquered.
The road opened on the Morning of July 18, and drivers who had big problems reaching the Hearst Castle (above) can easily drive along all of the state's most beloved drive.
This website is currently under construction.
Soon, you'll see a completely new travel and recreation website, featuring travelogues, great drives, natural places, travel news & information, and an opinion blog.
We're moving to the Wordpress System to create a modern site with plenty of graphics and up-to-date articles and opinions.
If you're looking for a particular page or section of the site, some sections and individual pages have been removed to make the changes.
Meanwhile, enjoy !
